It's not as if you'll have anything else occupying every minute of your free time by early April!

You have to admit that the choice of style, sequence and composition of that trailer is clearly designed to remove the need for imagination on behalf of the viewer. It's like it was designed for the kind of people who voted for Donald Trump.

I see what this is. I threatened to beat you like a Cherokee drum and now you're trolling me. Well I won't take the bait, Dalty. I won't. I WON'T!

You can't be Angry Adam anymore, you have the love of a beautiful woman. Will she turn you from the dark path that is Dirty Vest Man Part IVXCVM??

While what you say is entirely true, I also have a friend flying in from Denver in early April explicitly for the purpose of the two of us going to this movie together.

It's all about balance, Dimple.

But why, you've practically seen it from watching that trailer?

He's flying here! I'm not flying there! I also had no involvement in the hatching of this scheme, but it should be a furiously fun time all the same!

Apparently Helen Mirren is in this. That makes two Oscar winners. Two!

Here's a photo of her and Dom looking serious, which tells me she's a bad guy.

When did they stop trying to make half-assed puns out of the Fast/Furious titles? Was Fast Five the last one? Does Furious 7 even count as one? I saw on Wikipedia that this one is called The Fate of the Furious (the trailer just said Fast and Furious 8, which sounds as if they just finished dinner). I'm surprised they didn't go with The F8 of the Furious as an alternate spelling, to be honest.

They did. They just decided to save it for the hashtag.

Just to be clear, I wasn't joking. It's crawling all over their Twitter page:

This also reminded me a bit of the message our coffeemaker in the office displays after it's done making your coffee: Keurig brewed! (I always imagine this being said in a Phil-Hartman-as-Frankenstein voice.)

I'm imagining a Yotsuba-like scenario where a yarmulke-wearing Keurig just made some booze. Keuring, speaking in third person, says, "Keurig brewed!" A Rabbi opposite him then says, "He brewed!"

I'm quoting this just to get it on the record that today marks one year since my favorite Dalty-post of all time was posted.

Happy anniversary, pal. And many more!

Deal on this:

We know that Dirty Vest Man will have a silly excuse about turning bad and will end up being deep undercover to draw something out and will be revealed in the 3rd act as having been all good.

Unless.....

If they have the pure f--ing balls to acknowledge that in FF1 he was the bad guy and he's just returning to type and is now the franchise bad guy going forward then I will respect the shit out of this franchise.
