Really like the Wonder Woman and Dr. Strange trailers, and I was mostly pleased with the Justice League teaser. I've mentioned on other platforms that The Flash makes everything better, and it's clear that Barry's going to be a critical part of setting the lighter tone for these films.

It's just too bad that I wince every time I see him in his Power Rangers outfit. The only things about that armor that suggest he's The Flash are the red color and the lightning bolt on his chest. I suppose the explanation's going to be that Bruce provides it to him through WayneTech. Or maybe Alfred builds it by himself.

It looks a bit like the Injustice outfit, but I already didn't care for the Injustice outfit.

Yeah. It made sense in the context of the game, because of what happened to the world under Superman. It would MAKE sense in the context of the apocalyptic (pun intended) vision Bruce sees in BvS. But we aren't at that point... yet.

The trailers before ST last night were awful. The weak Bourne one and some behind the scenes stuff about the new Burton movie. That was it.

Am I the only one who wishes Morgan Freeman was making an extended cameo as Lucius Fox? His scenes were some of the best parts of the Dark Knight trilogy.

Think of it in the same vein as Judi Dench returning as an alternate version of M.

I think Fox was essential, with WayneTech Applied Sciences, to explain Batman's kit in the Nolan movies with their attempted grounding. In these movies with flying God-men and meta humans probably not so much?

I want that whole Nolan Batman universe back (although they ended TDK Trilogy perfectly), so you're not alone in wanting to see Lucius again.

They took the time to explain how Bruce was obtaining the tech he required from his own company without them finding out what it was being used for, but I don't know if they'll bother to do the same in the Justice League films.

Do they even have a Lucius Fox in the DCEU?

I guess I wouldn't have to ask if I actually saw BvS.

I'm waitin' on the Netflix offering.

Dude, how many death stars is the Empire going to build before they realize that they're not worth the effort?

To be fair, the Empire only Death Starred twice. That other time, they Star Killered. (It may be unfair to say "they," since the Start Killer was technically a First Order thing. The First Order's Imperial fanboyism is in macrocosm what Kylo Ren's Sith/Vader fanboyism is in microcosm.) Big difference. And, like, they destroyed whole planets along the way, so it wasn't a total loss. They had more success with their planet-destroying schemes than Luthor had with his land-grabbing schemes.

Did I say that with a straight enough face, or could you see a hint of tongue pressing at the cheek?

I like the fact that Wunderwaffe now means the solution to all problems.
