Forum and In-Joke Guide

Why bother with any other forum?
Forum rules
We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

He didn't have to fix Bo. Bo was already neutered.

His healthcare plan may be instrumental in fixing Beau. One Jubboiter is enough.

I'm gonna go way out on a limb here and assume that Missouri politely declined to accept the federal money for a Medicaid expansion, right?

Oh! Wait, but Missouri has a sane governor. That could've gone either way. What did they do?

Either way, so long as Ol' Beau gets fixed, that's what counts here.

I'm not sure of the specifics. I only know that I got some pretty cheap healthcare out of the deal.

It occasionally pays to be poor.

No. They "politely" declined the money (that'll show 'em that we don't want no Obamacare!). And they didn't expand it themselves. So it is extremely hard to get Medicaid in Missouri.

We have a democratic governor usually, but the rest of the state officials are typically republican, and they call most of the shots.

Ahhhh, that's too bad. I thought the governor would've overridden the crazy fringe on that one.

Though I suppose as procedures go, he got overridden.

That's because you have to keep your finger there.

I miss Jakester, he would've loved that softball setup.

I recommend drafting. It's something Harry and I work on together. When one car tucks in behind another, two cars can go faster than one. They divide the air resistance between them. Now here's where it gets interesting. The lead car has to floor it to hit 200 miles an hour, but the car that's tucked in behind doesn't. You can go just as fast and still have power in the reserve.

Are you getting this? Pass me a couple Sweet'N Low packets. I'll show you what I'm talking about.

Jakester

The man, the myth, the legend. Hugely influential. Hugely loved. Sorely missed. Redefined concepts of friendship in an Internet age. Right now is the moderator of God's own movie discussion forum.

First appearance: On everybody's first day on Corona, he was just there, Epic, Magnificent, just Jakester.

Embedding of the Concept of Jakester: Within 10 milliseconds of everybody's first day on Corona. 5 milliseconds if you were hot.
