Dalty's Adventures in Domestic Bliss

We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

Oh, I see. Come crawling back now!?! Argument is it? Sleeping on the couch are you? Is that why you are back amongst us? 😜

The boy is six months old now and we are watching Conan The Barbarian together. Top quality fathering? Or scarred for life??

It will leave absolutely no impression on him. You'll need to revisit it again and again for the next two-and-a-half years for him even to remember having watched it. There's also a good chance his vision is still developing, so it's questionable just what he's able to see at this point.

The music, though, may stick with him. Keep playing it as he develops, and he may be a Poledouris lover for life.

'That score' is the answer to "what is best in life"

I prefer lamentation of woman. Must be old fashioned.

I prefer the Red Sonja score, but I also have a Morricone bias.

I love Morricone, but I'm not too keen on a lot of his Red Sonja score. A lot of it felt lazy to me, though it's been a while since I've revisited it. I remember the calmer sections of the score work well (the strings sometimes even paraphrase the Poledouris, which is nice touch), but I also remember the part of the main theme where the choir is repeating "Sonja!" over and over again being bland and pretty goofy.

A View To A Kill today. All 007 films in order each Sunday afternoon means Will and Daddy time together on the couch. Today he is learning all about Roger Moore and how Sir Rog was the nicest man in showbiz.

Parenting done right. I bought the full 007 collection and doled them out to my boy for birthdays and Christmas. They were always labeled "From Ho Ho 7."

Jesus! If I vomited this much it would either mean the aftermath of a great night out or a life threatening illness!!!

Jubboiter did very little puking/spitting up as an infant. I think it happened two or three times. That was it. Of course, she's all kinds of fucked up, so it's not as though we got off easy as parents.

He's had a proper vom several times tonight. Seems OK otherwise. No fear of lights, no temperature etc. Just proper, proper evacuations!
