Dalty's Adventures in Domestic Bliss

Forum rules
We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

He should have paid her the proper respect. Stupid kid. He won't throw shade on his future ruler again!

If anyone's going to throw shade, it's Jubboiter. Right into some kid's face.

I'm talking about literal shades, if it isn't obvious. Like the ones that come with lamps. And the ones that block light from coming through windows. And the ones you wear on your face when the future's so bright.

I thought you meant the shadow cast by her powerful fist.

I have discovered Vietnamese people seem to have a thing for Western TV prank shows, Candid Camera and the like. I noticed something about this first when I realised a lot of the Viets on my Vietnam airlines flights were chuckling away to themselves watching the same show on the in-flight entertainment.

Then I noticed there were a lot shown on Viet TV.

Now New Mrs Dalty has decided she doesn't like The Running Man and is watching clips from said shows on her iPad in hysterics. Bless!

She's trying to change me. 35 days off the cigarettes, alcohol consumption halved. Waistline reduced by nearly two inches.

I could get used to this!

Lovely Vietnamese Mrs Dalty is going on vacation back to VN while I go on a stag weekend with my mates to Poland.

She has bought pretty much the entire contents of every retail outlet in South East England for gifts for her family and friends. I warned her she would never be able to take it all on the plane.

She is now trying to pack in my office at home.

The Vietnamese swear words coming from my office are hysterical.

Those don't seem that heavy to me. Maybe it's because I always pack a bunch of books whenever I fly.
