I think she imagines it will be like Asia where a queue of people round the block all with 3 cases is just waved through.

She doesn't realise it will be $20 per 5kg extra and airline saying "Fuck Off" if the flight is full.

I have offered to pay the pre-booked additional baggage charge but, you know, Vietnamese!

You're right. She's left.

Well, she hasn't left yet.

Right?

She genuinely has trouble computing things like us getting to choose leadership. It's seriously eye-opening when you get to understand that culture and makes you want to punch shouty "Down With The West" types who rant and rave from their safe democratic sofas in their stupid protesty faces.

You're doing well, my friend. Keep it up.

She also wants to watch TFA with me on BluRay at the earliest convenience, despite coming with me to see it at the theatre. I think she is a keeper.

She got into it after watching the originals with Viet subtitles on her iPad, on my persuasion.

That's really the only way to do it. The acoustics outdoors just don't cut it.

I read that whole sentence as sexual euphemism.

Here's the real question:

How many of her seven indoors (I'm assuming it's seven, anyway) did he introduce this "Game of Thrones" to?

Mrs Dalty loved First Blood so now we are on Rambo II. Vietnamese bad guys. She doesn't care. She says they are from the North of Vietnam so they are bastards.

Speaking Viet like if we were in a Japanese movie and having to act and speak Japanese. It would sound roughly and phonetically suspect.

So it's like watching Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins? Or is it more like watching Schwarzenegger try to sound like a native New Yorker in End of Days?
