I know him as Eric Weiss from Alias.

Never cared for Alias. A friend really liked it, so I watched a fair amount of it, but it always struck me as pretty stupid.

Even though I only really know Greg Grunberg from Heroes, I know his name is Greg Grunberg. I blanked on his character's name for a second (it eventually came to me: Matt Parkman), but his real name was right there in my head. Weird. I can also remember Milo Ventimiglia's name, but I'm only half sure I know his character's name. Peter? I'm drawing a total blank on Hayden Panettiere's character's name. All I can remember is that she was "The Cheerleader."

If I also knew these guys from other stuff, it would make more sense that I knew their real names. I know Ventimiglia was also in Rocky Balboa, but that's the only other thing that's coming to mind.

XKCD strips usually have a mouseover text. This one did. It was "I do this constantly." I wasn't able to preserve it, because I don't think our board is enabled to do it.

That's something Jubbers might could add for us: the ability to add mouseover text to an image. If she wanted, I mean.

Nope. Looks like when Jubbers changed things to be able to add a time stamp, it fouled up the regular YouTube embed code.

I went with the "youtime" tag and set it to start at "0."

Maybe the board won't let you assign two different codes the same functionality. I dunno. Jubbers has gone to bed, so I don't want to bother her with it tonight.

Earlier in the evening, she actually managed to turn off her light remotely. All with code. I was impressed.

You are supposed to be able to have [youtube] and [youtube=]; something's wrong with the BBCode parser. They work when you "Preview," but not on "Submit." I'm going to run a Re-Parser.

I see "youtime=" instead of "youtube=" when I look at the buttons. (I used the "youtime=" option for mine.) Does that make a difference?

That was me renaming it temporarily to try to fix it. Finished reparsing just now. It looks like [youtube] and [youtube=] (for timestamp) are working like they're supposed to now, so there is no longer [youtime]. You'll have to re-do the post you made @ 10:52 pm.
