Is this like when my students would send me a corrupted file seconds before the essay was due, act all innocent when I e-mailed them to say the file was corrupted, and send me "another copy" of the essay seven hours later after they'd "just noticed" my response?

I swear, man. In one case, I responded in under a minute following my receipt of a corrupted file. The dude claimed that he'd immediately shut off his computer after sending me the e-mail and had gone to bed.

I have been known, at 11pm, to shut off my work connection at home straight after sending my boss that essential report he needed before opening of play the next morning after working on it until 11pm. Because, you know, sleep!
