Black Mirror Favs and Busts

We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

Black Mirror Favs and Busts

So, I have to say right off that "White Christmas " blew my head off. I don't want to step into spoiler territory but my God the agony. To be trapped the way that character was is mind numbing. It takes me back to the Stephen King short story called "The Jaunt". To be separated from normal time and have to endure the numbing isolation of the endless void is a horror story for me. Worst nightmare for sure. John Ham was dead on in this role and his inevitable outcome was just as bloodly bleak as the story's protagonist. Honestly, this story really unnerves me. Especially that one scene where an extra says something like "should we turn it off for the weekend?" And the horrible answer is "no". Thus, the person in the void endures like six month of time with nothing more than a desk. Fukin horrible.

Worst epi, .....I have to say "The Waldo Movement ". Not a very interesting tale and one with a less than captivating lead. The Waldo cartoon character was a bit passé in that Triumph, the insult dog" and Ed the Sock we're doing the same schit ten years ago. Also, I the whole story felt rushed and kinda meh.
