Happy Canada Day, American hosers!

Why bother with any other forum?
Forum rules
We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

Happy Canada Day, American hosers!

A buck fifty as of July 1st 2017. I have four whole days off, can I get through them booze-free? Of course...

Not me.

Rum and Cokes are in order. And some to die for Haligonian DONAIRS. I also have a four day weekend. Wife and kiddies are heading to the Miramichi River in NB to spend the holiday with her brother. Me and the dog have the place to ourselves.

Hmmmm, what to do, what to do?

For me, Netflix and the gym. Maybe a movie at an actual theatre. A little sketching. I've been doing that recently.

Oh, and laundry. Yup.

I've actually started doing some stencil work in paint. Not very good at the moment but I will keep at it. I'm aiming to do some minimalist movie posters. Maybe some video game art.

Happy sesquicentennial, northern friends! Now, could you stop with all the adorable pics of your PM? We're depressed enough as it is down here in Trumpland.

I used to draw air- and spacecraft concepts, nothing too fancy, just pencil sketches of ships based loosely on NASA's proposals and others. I want to get back to that. There is some truly amazing digital artwork out there on those very subjects. I spend a lot of time Artstation, DeviantArt, and a few other blogs featuring artwork by some talented folk who work in film, video game and commercial art. Yet another subject I wish I'd taken in uni!

He's dealing with a recurrence of testicular cancer. I'm all for cutting him a little slack.

America doesn't need any help in the making-America-look-bad department:
