I choose to believe that those turtles are attempting to save that woman from a psychopath.

This one's pretty famous, since it gave Frank Zappa the title for one of his best-known albums:

Random: If you ever wondered whether Rule 34 applied to that sequence from It where the Losers' Club gets lost in the sewers and the boys all take turns having sex with Bev Marsh, then rest assured that it absolutely does apply - albeit not in a completely canonical way.

I only asked because I didn't think you'd actually do it. Now I just feel dirty.

Scotch!

What is it good for!

I have bought floopy pants on amazon!

I mentally inserted a "Huh! Good god, y'all!" in between "Scotch!" and the sentence that followed it.

Amazon Floopy Pants is a good name for a band.

Also will look right at home slotted into a spaceship. Usually with a twirly artificial gravity thing spinning around it.

This article appeared in my Facebook feed recently:
https://www.autostraddle.com/kin-aesthe ... ce-386640/

I thought it was interesting, not in the sense that it conveys something new to me but in the sense that those who are at the front lines of the social justice war are starting to recognize how dogmatic they can be in their belief systems. It's a point that Goiter has raised from time to time (and it's also present to some degree in what I've read of his Suicidists novel), but it's also an idea that's come up more than once in public discourse since November 2016 (e.g., when Betsy DeVos was booed during the commencement speech she gave at that university in Florida and the university's president had to remind the crowd of graduating seniors of the purpose of universities).
