In which we discuss our favorite character selections from the classic games of yore.
I went with Luigi about 90% of the time in SMB2. His great leaping ability being his greatest trait, could also make him difficult to control for the novice player (I was no novice). To me, the choice of Luigi was always a no-brainer.

We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

I played as Luigi or Princess Toadstool. Mostly, I just liked that they both did weird things. I liked Luigi's little kicks, and I liked that you only ever saw Princess Toadstool's feet when she jumped. Playing as Luigi was the closest you could come to having a "hard" setting. It made every level feel a little like an ice level. Playing as Princess Toadstool made you feel something like a demigod. A slow-moving, low-jumping demigod.

I'm still waiting for the Virtua Fighter/Tekken crossover.
