We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

British Open
Anyone else watching? I'm rooting for Fowler. Part of me would also like to see Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods do so well. I like to see the old guys do well, and I cant exactly say why I want Tiger to win, but I do.

Re: British Open
Also, I want to say that I enjoy these golf majors so much. They are better than most sporting events, short of the super bowl and few others. I've been enjoying the Gold Cup in soccer as well, the Mexico-Trinidad match was superb!

Re: British Open
I admit with some embarrassment that I had to read your first post to remind myself which sport was connected to the Open.

Re: British Open
Golf majors are just the best. I'll be getting up early on Sunday for sure.
Personally I'm rooting for Spieth, if only because it'd be really cool to see someone win a Slam, but I'm with you on the old guys. Gotta root for Tom Watson especially.

Re: British Open
We tag-teamed that.
We should probably pick one sport glossary and stick with it.

Dustin Johnson is looking good!
I was playing golf a few days ago and doing terrible, and my buddy said what once would be considered a great compliment. "You're playing like Tiger" He just sucks now, tough to watch!

I'm a bit surprised you claim it all as it's taking place in Scotland this year.
Also: Spieth!

Re: British Open
Scotland's part of Britain. Haven't we had this discussion a couple times before?

So is England. Dalty is English. Dalty hates Scotland. Scotland hates Britain. The Swollen Goiter of God wrote:Scotland's part of Britain. Haven't we had this discussion a couple times before?
It all makes sense in the Ol' Skoglund Brain, Goiter. Trust me.

Scotland hates England, even though they would be bankrupt drug addicts ferreting through trash cans for food if we didn't give them all the moneys!

Well obviously England has nothing but love for Scotland!
You guys should head to war. Your polo mallets vs. their golf clubs. I'd pay to see that fight.

If he still wants that Grand Slam, he could always go to Denny's.
American Pharaoh will go out this year's real athlete. Grand Slam? Fuck that shit! Triple Crown, bitches!

Horses aren't athletes, Goits. They're even beneath soccer goalies on that particular food chain.
