Dalty (and Adam's) Dating Adventures
Forum rules
We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

Oh, and I should add, I've already been a-pinting for a couple of hours already. This could help, or it may hinder.

Couple of tips Spacey. Getting pissed up, telling them everything they believe in is bullshit and calling them a fucktard is likely to lead to dating disasters matey!Space Tycoon wrote:Oh, and I should add, I've already been a-pinting for a couple of hours already. yeah I made that mistake. Got drunk at a fish fry and made fun on the girl I was dating's religious beliefs. It did not end well.

Also not acceptable:
- telling her about the time you slept with her mom
- punching her in the tits
- selling her to people traffickers in the parking lot if the date falls below expectations

Yup! Everyone of of them! Except the third one. And the first one. Wouldn't really be able to speak to the second one either. But other than that - it's gospel.

Well there was no actual question. I merely stated that I believed this particular human female may have been interested in someone other than me.The Swollen Goiter of God wrote:And, again, what was the question?Space Tycoon wrote:And if so, who answers? Who answers?
It seems I may have been right.

That's what I was referring to. It suggested to me that you were answering a question someone above had asked.Space Tycoon wrote:So, delayed reaction, the answer to the above is most decidedly not.

The girlfriend (of seven months now!) is on the verge of maybe or maybe not breaking up with me because, and I quote, I'm "too normal and healthy and I don't know what to do with that because I've never had it before."
Uhhhhh....okie dokie then.

That's her way of telling you you need to be less boring. Every now and then, you need to beat up a stranger, rob a rich man's house, leave a flaming bag of feces on a doorstep, or shoot a little heroin.
Don't overdo it. Clearly, her relationships with the too-damaged folks also haven't worked out.

I'm thinking of faking my own death. That oughta spice things up for her.The Swollen Goiter of God wrote:That's her way of telling you you need to be less boring. Or you could bring up the subject of the Shadow Government. That's usually how bitches leave.
In my experience anyhow.

That's a terrible idea. It would take some kind of person to go through with a thing like that.Adam54 wrote:I'm thinking of faking my own death. That oughta spice things up for her.

This is the kind of soft brained twat-fuckery that nightmare girls, the kind that will only ever cause you a life of mentally abusive and high maintenance confusion, come out with because their heads are filled with something slightly less useful than badly scrambled egg.Adam54 wrote:..."too normal and healthy and I don't know what to do with that because I've never had it before." .
Time for a pre-emptive strike. Ditch the fucking nut-bar and see how she likes those predictable apples.
I say this out of complete affection for you and with your long term well being in mind.

Any person who doesn't want to be with you because you're stable clearly isn't mature enough for a long-term relationship anyway. Maybe that's what you should tell her as you're breaking up with her.

Re: Dalty (and Adam's) Dating Adventures
She has kids, right? It may not be as simple as all that. It may have nothing to do with with any of what she said to you.
If you like her, let her know you like her. If you think there's more to the story, invite her to tell you more. If she needs space, let her have that space. Don't just go assuming she's fucked in the head because she's feeling a little uncomfortable with the current situation. And if she is fucked in the head, don't necessarily hold that against her.
Also, maybe don't take any of our potentially shitty advice. We're all just as fucked in the head as anybody you're ever likely to date.

In all seriousness, I agree with Mal here. I appreciate all Goiter says but genuinely believe life is too short to deal with girls who find your good sense, natural stability and ability to confront the world in a level headed manner as difficult.
