Adam's Free Screenings Thread

We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

Re: Adam's Free Screenings Thread
I just got my first offer (that I'm actually able to attend) in a long time. Two free passes this Wednesday for something called Gods of Egypt.
Upon initial review, this looks horrible. But it would be free. Do I go? What do you people know about it?

Because it would be free or because it would be terrible and you want me to suffer for two hours?

I've never seen Clash of the Titans.
Wait. Is this a sequel to that terrible looking Exodus movie from last year?

It's getting to be that a guy can't even ask a legitimate question with more than one possible answer around this place anymore!

If Fake Strider wouldn't take my accidental bait, there's no way he's taking yours.

Re: Adam's Free Screenings Thread
You hadn't posted in here for so long, I thought this was a ploy to touch people inappropriately, you know, like "free breast cancer screening," or, more likely considering the make-up of this board, "free testicular cancer screening."

Dimples in that testicular screening might be indicative of an issue. Better get it checked out!

Give it time, mate. The film isn't released for another week or two. I'm so excited they've made a sequel. This has all the potential in the world to become my favorite action film series so long as it's still going once Fast & Furious finishes up.

Like F&F, the first one was stupid silliness of the highest order but entertaining as fuck. I also enjoyed "White House Down" though so who am I to judge anything?
