Dalty's Sea Monster Movie Aquarium

We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

I'm sorta surprised they'd dare to leave the title in metric for the US release.
Apparently, they didn't dare to leave it in metres.

I haven't showed the trailer to the spousal unit yet. I don't want his head to explode.

It's OK. 50m is when the air turns toxic and kills you on the normal stuff. Of course, even at "only" 47m and breathing at "Panic" rate they would have something like 8mins bottom time and still need to do a 10m / 3m safety stop PLUS a controlled ascent to get to that stop all in waters teeming with Great Whites....... but it is just a movie!

"Two girls do perfectly safe scuba dive, following all the rules, and don't get eaten" would be one hell of a boring movie.

I once went accidentally down to about 42m on normal air when 30m is supposed to be casual limit. Was down there for less than 20secs before I realised I had fucked up. Then got buzzed by a hammerhead scout on the way back up.

You don't understand the level of un-disbelief I have to deal with. After "Wonder Woman," he bitched about the use of a town in Belgium, instead of a place more appropriate to the year, as well as the "stupid" revision of the real German general. All that for a movie he actually liked.

A movie about diving, his $$$$ pit, has no room for error.

You should take him to see the movie, but after the trailers excuse yourself to go to the toilet and just go to the bar across the street, then when he comes out ask for his blow-by-blow review.

I asked him if he'd heard of the movie. He said, "Uncontrolled dive 150 feet down, you're dead in three minutes. Movie over." So I don't think we're seeing it.
