Harold Ramis died!
Forum rules
We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

It's no longer our parents generation of people. This really is so sad.

I don't know about your parents, but Harold Ramis was about 10 years older than mine.
Still sad.

I liked his stuff.
He went to Washington University in St. Louis. He based Animal House on his experience there.
Mal, Jubbers, and I also went to Washington University in St. Louis.

Also even more difficult to overcome in making Ghostbusters 3 than Bill Murray was proving.

You know, if they wanted to do a CGi ghosty version of Egon as a central character in the story then I would be OK with that if his family etc were. Especially cool if it turns out there was something in his will about doing it that way.

I don't know that Ghostbusters was as central to his life as people seem to want it to have been.

He could always do a Cowboy Way sequel.

I liked The Cowboy Way.
A friend of mine has a side project that uses the same title. I posted some of his material on Corona back in the day.
