Television Shows on Quasar's Bubble

Forum rules
We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

Television Shows on Quasar's Bubble

Post by Quasar »

Lost Girl - Currently on "1 more episode" status

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - Currently on "1 more episode" status. Specifically, "The Magical Place" episode, as they've been going there the entire season, so I should at least watch that one.

To be more specific, "1 more episode" status means I've decided to drop the show, but they have 1 more episode to convince me not to.

I am well backed up on S.H.I.E.L.D. on the Sky box but just can't get excited about catching up.

It's not so bad.

The Taste is as awful this year as it was last year. Luckily, I'm drawn to awful like a fly's drawn to shit.

It's a cooking show that rips off The Voice's format. Nigella's on it.

Ahhhh, yes. I have seen that advertised.

Strictly speaking they should do it blindfolded. Then, somebody could shit on the spoon.

I'm pretty sure some of them would have better luck if they did, in fact, shit on the spoon.

"Shit on the Spoon" is a good name for a band.

Jubbers and I watched The World's End recently. They, too, do the that-would-be-a-good-name-for-a-band thing.

I thought I should at least watch another episode of Touch before I dropped it, so I did, and it's now dropped, though it's almost worth watching just to see Keifer show up to different places without a clue, invade people's personal space while proclaiming "I think I'm supposed to be here!" and "I think I'm supposed to go in the ambulance with you!" and "I think I'm supposed to have sex with you!" That last one hasn't happened yet, but it definitely feels like it could any moment.

I've almost watched the show a couple times. It looks terrible. It's the kind of terrible I think I would enjoy. It's also done, right? It's its own little thing that's captured in time, and I don't have to worry about following it for years and years.

Looks like the American version of Being Human was cancelled. There's another one I can leave behind soon. Phew.
