God"saddlebags"zilla *minor spoilers possible*

Why bother with any other forum?
Forum rules
We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

I swear that sounds like "Where's Vasquez!" every time I hear it.

When I was a kid I thought Hicks was saying, "Where's Bowski!? Where's Bowski!?".

And Luke told Han on the sail barge, "There's nothing to see. Your eyes deliver."

I'm a Wierzbowski, you're a Wierzbowski!

You know, I'm gonna keep finding excuses to type "Wierzbowski" until someone stops me. That's just how I roll.

I don't know how important human characters are to a monster film. One day someone will make a serious Alien vs Predator movie without any human characters. They don't even have to give the monsters human speech. Just let the monsters "emote," kill each other and be awesome.

Benji the Hunted and The Bear manage with minimal dialog.

I'm referring to Annaud's The Bear, of course, and not the Gary Busey-starring Paul "Bear" Bryant biopic.

There's also The Red Balloon and Der letzte Mann. And, like, other stuff.

One-third of "2001: A Space Odyssey" contains no dialogue.

That's another good one.

Only a third? That's surprising. If you'd told me half of it was without dialog, I'd have believed you.

There's very little dialog during the first forty-five minutes of Wall-E. I like it those first forty-five minutes quite a bit.

Hmmm. As I recall the opening of "Up" also has very little dialogue. Those Pixar dudes are genius.
