I am taking my new found freedom out for a spin. Nobody else to plan with, ask permission from etc. etc. So in 45 days I am getting on a plane, and buggering off on my own!

I am flying to Singapore, spending a week there, then hopping on another plane and heading into Saigon, Vietnam (or Ho Chi Minh City as they call it these days) for a few more days. There I have enrolled in a Vietnamese cookery school.

Then back to Singapore for a couple more days before heading home.

Exciting, and a little frightening. It has been a long time since I travelled alone.
