A most fitting tribute!

We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

A most fitting tribute!
There is no way I can tell this story delicately and, given the outcomes, it would probably be inappropriate to try. So I apologise in advance, especially to the ladies of the forum, and to those of a sensitive nature.
Whilst I have been here in Saigon I have become..... ahem.... close to a Viet girl I met on my solo travelling around the city. We have become buddies and this has then moved on somewhat.
This afternoon, whilst consoling ourselves that I have to fly back to Singapore tomorrow and whilst doing my level best for Anglo-Viet relations we were in the midst of a passionate interlude accompanied to music from my iPhone. I thought I was on some kind of play list. I was wrong. One of the tracks buried on my iPhone was suddenly with us via the travel speakers.
The Doctor Who theme tune by Murray Gold.
At this point I was already, shall we say, fully committed to the task at hand. So I did what I hope any of us would do in the same circumstances.
I looked to the heavens.
I said out loud "This is for you Jakester!"
And I quickened my pace!

Spacey, already been there buddy. Also my attempts to make her wear VC black pyjamas, red headband and yell "Defend The a North, Conquer a The South, Unite The Nation!" at the height of passion has met with dismal failure.
Now, I'm off to look for Charlie in the trees!

Re: A most fitting tribute!
So what are people saying over there about this Malaysian airliner that has (most likely) gone down?

Security at place like this is generally very relaxed compared to ours. This afternoon at Ho Chi Minh airport it was airtight.
One of my friends in Singa is cabin crew for Singapore Airlines and they say lots doesn't add up. Usually if anything happens mid air then there will be constant contact until disaster, efforts to keep the ground informed no matter what they are wrestle with in the cockpit, a distress call of some kind at the very least.
This thing just disappeared.
There was a rumour it was turning from it's agreed flight plan when it dissappeared.

I looked at a girl's panties. They were my own, but Jakester would've liked that anyway.

Jubboiter wore a Batman shirt today. It was a coincidence, but it was a neat coincidence.

I had a naughty and rude thought about Kah. It felt like somebody should in his absence.

I can't help but think about Jakester when I see a story about Maggie Q attending a red carpet sans underwear.

For some reason, my first thought was of Maggie Smith.

Re: A most fitting tribute!
Small request - Can all of you write something on Jake's Facebook page today? It would've been his birthday and it means a lot to our mom when people write things on his FB wall and keep his memory alive. She's a bit obsessive about checking to see if people have written anything to him. It's her way of coping - which she is not very good at doing.
