There's also Monica Rambeau's Captain Marvel, though that one's a bit of a cheat.

In DC, more often than not, female versions of male superheroes got the "girl" treatment, as was the case with Supergirl and Hawkgirl. (To be fair, there was a Batwoman before there was a Batgirl.)

I have mixed feelings about gin. On these hot evenings a nice G&T is perfect. But six later I get all depressed and maudlin and do stupid things like cry during the finale of How I Met Your Mother.

I'm certainly not judging you. That's a major decision, especially if you don't have another job waiting for you. I don't know what motivated you to consider quitting in the first place, but I hope that it's not something that you can't get past now that you've decided to stay on.

Well, not bad, exactly, just extremely taxing. Sometimes you see a mirage ahead that promises you some brighter future if only you cut ties with your current situation. It's rarely that simple.

I've got free passes to an early screening of Let's Be Cops tonight. The trailer made me laugh and it stars roughly half the cast of New Girl, so I'm definitely interested in seeing it at some point.

It's also currently 72 degrees and sunny with a light breeze outside, so I don't know that today is the day to sit inside a dark, chilly movie theater.

Tough call.
