Behold..... Batfleck and Benmobile!

Forum rules
We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

Was kinda hoping for combat-fatigue like outfit from the Arkham games.

Yeah, this rubber suit looks like it would be kind of hard to move in.

You don't need to get around when you're chained up all day.

Thing is, MoS pretty much confirmed that Supes suit is effectively the underoos from Kryptonian battle armour.

So surely Bats suit should look very much 'Of This Earth' ? The opposite?

And the car should look very different to Supes transit pod thingy that he came to Earth in?

I do like the look of the cowl, though... at least I like what I can see of it in that image.

It could have been way worse. I look forward to seeing it in color.

Other than the Fat Bat emblem I like it. Molded rubber is looking pretty tired, but it works well enough here.

I always liked how Batman: Dead End tried to stick to the spandex-type costume and even managed to make it seem plausible - or at least not silly-looking. The cape would probably still make it kind of impractical, but I imagine it would be overall much more maneuverable than a bulky rubber suit.

Some of the colouration that fan boys have done looks awesome. Especially if it's the grey and blue of West and Dark Knight Returns.

Always liked the shot in Dead End where the cape is spread on the ground and he rises up out of it.

I like that the guy who played the Joker in Dead End also played "Boner" on Growing Pains. It's especially nice when considering this:

The guy who played the Joker in Dead End and "Boner" on Growing Pains was also the son of Walter Koenig. Also, he hanged himself. From a tree. In a park in Vancouver.

It sucks that the guy who did the "Boner" video had to frame it with the stupid commentary. Also, maybe something else could have been used in place of "Yakety Sax."

I thought maybe the original was from Ikiru, but it turns out it's not. I just remembered a wooden swing and rain. I'm not sure if the original is from a movie, or if it's just a picture someone took.

I'm still half-convinced Nolan's Batman lost his virginity to Talia. Something tells me he'd be a shitty swinger.

Dawn of Justice.

The Bat emblem is significantly bigger than the Super symbol.

Hmm.

And Batman's name is first.

At least they've finally dropped the pretense. This probably isn't a Man of Steel sequel. It's more likely that it's a Batman movie--but set in Metropolis, and with a Superman cameo.

To be fair, the symbols have been combined that way before, in The New Batman-Superman Adventures.

And besides, the expression Batman-Superman flows better than Superman-Batman because you put the word with fewer syllables first.

The only time I ever remember Superman's name coming first was Loeb's Superman/Batman comic. Even in that case, though, they only really used the title on the inside of the cover.

They didn't use the names to sell the comic. They just used the symbols. You'll notice that Superman's symbol is inside Batman's symbol again. The only real difference is that they allow Superman's symbol to be so large that it causes Batman's symbol to stretch out a bit.
