He's been out with...I wanna say a shoulder injury? They just haven't really been booking him with any sense of purpose for the last couple years so it wouldn't shock me if there was some combination of contract being up/creative dissatisfaction/him being a diva (small d) to create the possibility of a release.

Supposedly more releases (plural) are to be expected by the end of May, and I have to imagine Ryback and Adam Rose will be two of them, but we'll see!

In other news, I read a brief snippet of an interview with Tommy Dreamer in which he explained how to turn Reigns into a full blown monster heel.

"Just put him against Rollins for the belt when Seth is back. Flips him into the biggest heel and Seth into the biggest face overnight."

Yuuuuuuuuuupppp! That's so obvious I have hope even WWE can figure it out.

I've been pushing for Rollins vs. Reigns for awhile now. At some point, add in Ambrose and you've got a terrific storyline for later in the year.

Sounds like a Summerslam Triple Threat to me! I can't recall if I mentioned this here or not, but I was in the building for the Slammy Awards in December when Rollins hobbled out to accept his Superstar of the Year trophy. If you pull the video up on YouTube, you'll see an example of WWE totally muting the crowd sound: he got a HUGE face pop and then cut a heel promo. All that WWE let come across was like two seconds of the pop and then virtual silence.

Vince himself said today Seth is due back in a month or so. Can't wait.

Along with Rollins, Cena, and Wyatt, Vince confirmed Orton would be back in about a month. I don't think he's going to get cut, based on that.

Huh! Apparently Christian was also cut from his performer's contract last week. Not that they were ever gonna use him again in that capacity, (I think I was at his second to last match, way back in 2014) but still we can add him to the list.

They're kind of limping into Extreme Rules, and I still can't figure out if they're trying to elicit a heel reaction from the crowd toward Styles, or what. Apparently, Balor's staying in NXT longer than many people thought in order to feud with Samoa Joe, so he might not be in any sort of program with AJ this summer.

Jericho and Ambrose are going to have an "Asylum Match," which is just another name for a cage match with weapons.

The New Day had a hilarious "time-travel" skit on this week's RAW where they accidentally stopped in 2009 and Kofi temporarily spoke with his old Jamaican accent. lol

Also, the WWE refuses to call Anderson, Gallows and Styles the "Bullet Club," since they're family-friendly now and families don't want to hear about bullets at wrestling shows (but creepy threats against wrestlers' children and assaulting non-wrestlers outside the ring are perfectly fine). KAYFABE, people!

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly they can go from legitimate highs like Payback to lows like what they've been doing lately. I'm going to have to track down that time-travel bit. That sounds awesome.

It's gotta be a copyright issue with NJPW on the Bullet Club though, right? But either way, "The Club" is just an absurd name for a stable. They can do so much better.
