That was Shake 'n' Bake, in case you couldn't translate Goiter's last comment.

It's what we call a "shake and bake" comment.

They don't do made-to-order steaks or anything. That's what I thought. I thought it would be like Outback, but with an ice cream theme instead of an Australian theme.

Letterman loves it. That's all you really need to know.
Good Lord. That sounds remarkable. AND Letterman loves it? I'm in.

It was one of my favorite places to go. I love their french fries.

I've never tried one, but then, after trying the supposedly terrific In 'n' Out burger and finding it average, I don't put stock in the conventional wisdom on good burgers.

Then again, I grew up with this place to spoil me:

I am about to go to a Carl's Jr here in Saigon for the very first time! What's good? What should I pop my Carl's Jr cherry on??

Do they have the 2/3 lb. Monster Thickburger? I say you go for that.

Holy fucking shit! I think I am going to die. Too much meat. Cannot move.

Somebody call some little Vietnamese people to roll me back to the hotel.

Stop being a wimp, Dalty. Unless you've just consumed Ruby Tuesday's Ultimate Colossal Burger (plus fries) followed by one of their tall cakes, I don't want to hear you complaining.

It was a good burger. But painful. My colon will be punished.

If you ever stumble upon a Ruby Tuesday's, you should try this:

Yes, that's two 1/2 lb. patties on a triple-decker bun.

Surely this is some kind of meaty witchcraft?

If you ever find yourself in an Arby's, be sure to order a Meat Mountain off the secret menu.

"If your jawline is not proper, it will snap! If you're like Glass Joe from Punch-Out!!, Meat Mountain is gonna work you over!"

To back up a step, who here knows it as Carl's Jr. and who here knows it as Hardee's?

Count me on Team Hardee's.

Just be sure to tell them you want all the parts warm.

It's Hardee's for me. It becomes Carl's Jr. the farther out west you get. There's history to this. (They used to be separate things.) I think I've written about it either here or at CA 2.0.

Carl's Jr is surely not grammatically correct. Where is Neglet when we need her? Watching cheesy disaster movies with offspring, no doubt!!
