We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. Re: Teach Dalty American!
It's not a situation where a guy named Carl(,) Jr. opened a restaurant. (I'll leave comma inclusion/exclusion up to the individual writer. Since Dalty's a Brit, he may prefer "Jnr." I'm unsure what the prevailing British opinion is on this specific matter of orthography, and I'm not going to bother to look it up.) It's a situation where Carl, who initially had a larger restaurant, decided to open up smaller versions of the larger restaurant. The first restaurant was called Carl's Drive-In Restaurant and was a full-service restaurant. The smaller versions were designed for people on the go. The menu was smaller, and the service was quicker. These were Carl's junior restaurants. When it came time for Carl to give these restaurants a title, he (or, maybe, someone acting on his behalf) lopped off the "restaurant," and "junior" came to be abbreviated the way it is usually abbreviated when used as a suffix for a name.

Re: Teach Dalty American!
I sometimes gloss over words I assume are familiar (Because of ignorance?) so I had never noticed "Carl" was the pluralized bit. Interesting.
Also, Hardees for me as well.
Also also, I'm going to buy me a meat mountain soon. That thing looks amazing.

They don't have Carl's Jr out here, and most Hardee's I remember from the 70s/80s have also bitten the dust. Which is just as well, I never ate there anyway, and I vaguely recall the owner is an idiot in some way.
From their ads, I'm sure they don't care about me, anyway.

Re: Teach Dalty American!
GoT wise, the Mountain is slow enough I imagine I cold probably climb him before he could grab me. Of course then he'd break me into bits.
As for the sammich, oh man...so good.
I attempted to eat it as is, but the chicken tenders threw off the biting, so I ate those separately. I then did the same with the bacon, but mostly because that's what I do with bacon (and also pepperoni). It is definitely filling, I felt unable to eat supper later that evening.
For the record, breakfast was pop tarts, lunch was a meat mountain, and supper was a cookie. Mid-twenties me would be so angry at me.
For the money I feel it's a good value. I view Arby's as an expensive fast food place, but the MM was pretty huge and I feel I got my 10 bucks worth. That said I no longer feel like I could just dive into their bin of roast beef and devour it all. My limit was met, met with meat.
But yeah, it tasted pretty good. The individual flavors really fell away though, so if you have a favorite meat you may be dissipated.
I'd eat another...I just need some time first.

Mid twenties me would ask me what the hell I had been eating and why I don't seem to have any Marlboro lights anymore.

When you guys go to parties, why do you always drink out of red plastic cups?

They're quite affordable, sturdy and hold a decent amount of liquid.
I think the better question here is why don't you people?

Fair challenge.
But we drink more than you. The movies teach me this. You guys turn up to a party with a four bottle carrier of standard beer and think it's acceptable.

Beer Pong probably has something to do with it. Or did the cups have something to do with Beer Pong?
Chicken? Egg?

To answer your question, it makes clean-up a hell of a lot easier after a bit party. You just toss all those cups out.

I never said that we don't recycle the cups. Recycling doesn't make clean-up any harder - you just put all the plastics in a separate bag.
