We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

Re: Noteworthy Video Dump
They've stepped it up with the Mega Death Sauce (550,000 Scoville Heat Units). Mad Dog 357 (357,000 Scoville Heat Units) used to be the hottest sauce they used, which was pretty amusing to me, since that's the sauce I used most often at home.
I had to throw all my hot sauces out about a month ago when our apartment lost power for four days. Had to throw pretty much everything in the fridge out. It was gnarly. I hope to get to rebuild my hot sauce collection soon. At the moment, all I have is some tasty-but-pretty-wimpy sriracha sauce. I can pretty much turn it up and drink it like it's lemonade.

I just watched the above something like seven times in a row. I'm not even sure I know why I watched it seven times in a row. Maybe it was because it was really short.

Sheesh. I just watched it another three times.
What the hell, Goits? It's awkward. I like awkward. Maybe that's it.

When I replay the video in my head, I have Liam sounding like Tarzan when he says, "You're Chris. I'm Liam." In fact, "You're" becomes "You" in my head, and "I'm" becomes "Me."
That's probably one of the reasons I keep rewatching. Some part of me hopes I can will Liam into saying "You... Chris. Me... Liam."

I guess I'm also amused that Eggertsen seems genuinely intimidated by that Hayden Christensen-lookin' motherfucker.
Only way to know for sure is to watch it again.

Byron Ferguson is my new hero.
The guy hosting the video is kind of obnoxious, though.

The guy hosting has a fairly popular YouTube channel. I think he uses the tone he uses because a big chunk of his audience is made up of kids.
There's also the accent. That can be off-putting for some. It's educated Alabamian. He was working on his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama around the same time I was working on mine.

Re: Noteworthy Video Dump
On the "Background" section of his Wikipedia page, you will learn that he has degrees in mechanical engineering and aerospace engineering. You will also learn that he is a practicing Christian. This seems an unimportant detail to add to this section, considering its being unrelated to his science background (which one would think would be the section's major focus), but I guess it's still technically part of his background. Still, one would think that sort of detail would be better suited for a "Personal Life" section. It feels out of place in the "Background" section, as does the detail about his kids.
The placement of it may be political. You know, because it's Alabama.

These have been around for a while, and they're on a pretty popular channel, but they were new to me (I suppose it's also possible that I saw them and forgot them, since that's a thing I do):

Re: Noteworthy Video Dump
This Harmon Brothers production works better for me than some of the other ones I've seen:
It has a similar feel to some of these others (like the Goldilocks mattress thing, Poo~Pourri, and the one where the unicorn craps a rainbow-colored ice cream), and, like them, there's an element of the same kind of tries-too-hard that you'll find in stuff like The Oatmeal, but it's somehow less obnoxious to me.

Re: Noteworthy Video Dump
All throughout my movie-viewing life, I've noticed variations on this pretty fucking awful catchphrase popping up, but I've never seen it collected like this:

Re: Noteworthy Video Dump
I hadn't seen or thought about this in twenty years:
It's pretty powerful stuff, even if Farrakhan has a history of being polarizing and having some pretty problematic views.
Recently, Farrakhan praised (while emphasizing that he doesn't support) Donald Trump. The specific praise had to do with Trump being, according to Farrakhan, the only candidate not to take Jewish money for his campaign. There's good and bad in that, I guess, considering where Trump actually did get his campaign money. Also, while receiving large campaign contributions from Jewish groups or Jewish individuals can be problematic in its own right, a blanket denouncement of all Jewish campaign contributions strikes me as similarly problematic.
