Noteworthy Video Dump

We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

Being in that car must have been fun.
Even if you're not all that into the Chili Peppers.

I watched that yesterday. My favorite thing about it is that Flea can't help but mouth his bass parts.

That's pretty schwifty. Is this the same guy who did the through-the-decades thing with "Get Lucky"?

I think I prefer this Ten Second Songs cover:
I like more of the artists whose style he's aping in this one. That's probably a big part of it.

Thanks for the "Get Lucky" song - I hadn't heard those renditions before. For the 1970s one, they could have just left the original Daft Punk song.
I also like the interpretations of "Hello". I was hoping he'd do Lionel Richie and The Mamas and the Papas. Some of those imitations are really spot-on.

I considered posting this in the Fun Japanese Things thread or the Batshit Republicans one, but it seemed more appropriate here.

Re: Noteworthy Video Dump
I came across this guy on YouTube recently who calls himself the Rap Critic. The first review was of "Panda" by Desiigner, which led me deeper into the rabbit hole.
Then I saw that he also reviewed Eminem's "Berserk," and even though his criticism of the Beastie Boys kind of misses the point, it's still an enjoyable video.
The last one is a review of "Gangsta's Paradise" in defense of Coolio, which is in itself something that you don't often hear. He brings up some good points in this one.

I recommend watching at 2x speed.

He's a much better jumper than my kid. She still hasn't quite figured it out. She also still says "Jump!" every time she tries to jump.

It's the Street Fighter way. You have to announce your move as you perform it.

Re: Noteworthy Video Dump
Speaking of announcing your moves:
The urinals at the YMCA claim to make use of "Falcon Waterfree Technologies." Whenever I use one and it does a poor job of draining, I like to shout "Falcon Punch!" to no one.
I'm not announcing a move, exactly. It's more that I'm describing what I've left in the bowl.
