The Anti-Wrestling Thread
Forum rules
We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

The Anti-Wrestling Thread
I figured there ought to be a companion thread. You know, for Dalty.

Is this going to be the heel to the other thread's face?

Re: The Anti-Wrestling Thread
At first I thought you were going to use "heel" to mean the villain, as in this thread is the NWO of wrestling threads.

Re: The Anti-Wrestling Thread
Hey, if we're going to use the anti-wrestling thread in order to discussing wrestling lingo, I'm all for it.

I don't "get it" enough to be truly anti. As evidenced in the other thread.

I'm a smark, dammit. You're a mark, or at least a Sting mark. Perhaps a smark in general. I'll grant you your general smarkiness.

Re: The Anti-Wrestling Thread
I'm not a Sting mark. I think Sting's mid-nineties shtick and Crow getup is pretty embarrassing. Barely even knew of him before that, though YouTube has helped me fill in some gaps.
We had four channels growing up. TBS and TNT weren't among those channels. I had almost no WCW access until I was a college student in the late nineties, and even then I only watched the wrestling shows when I was hanging out with a friend who insisted on showing me the shows. (He insisted he was going to convert me into a fan. I humored him. He eventually joined a fraternity and forgot all about me.)
My stepbrother would buy WCW magazines on occasion in the mid-nineties, and I'd hear other folks talk about Nitro on Tuesday mornings in homeroom. I was an accidental eavesdropper and an unwilling retainer of all sorts of info back in those days.

That sort of talk belongs in the Mixed Feelings About Wrestling Thread.

Feel free to create it if you want. I don't see myself creating another wrestling thread.

Re: The Anti-Wrestling Thread
A true Sting mark wouldn't have to ask me that question.
