Forum rules
We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

Site Improvements
Is there a way to make a thread with unread posts a little more obvious? Like change the color of the thread, or of the "Unread Posts" note? I think that make it easier to see which threads have new posts in them.

I think this is a swell idea. We'll see what Jubbers says.

Re: Site Improvements
Love love love the "jump to 1st unread post" link, as the little box was hard to find on my ipad mini. My clumsy fingers thank you.

Re: Site Improvements
Videos should no longer autoplay. The video bbcode now uses HTML5. Let me know if that doesn't work. I hate autoplay.

Autoplay didn't have many kind words to say about you, either.

Re: Site Improvements
If this is a response to the Daily Show video that was autoplaying, it wasn't the forum's fault. I pasted the site's URL between the video tags (which is not how it's supposed to work) and it basically displayed the website in a small frame. On the original website, the video would autoplay, so whatever you did to the site to prevent that may not actually affect this particular issue. I can try it here.

Well, now the video doesn't play at all.

Re: Site Improvements
It wasn't because of the Daily Show video. It was because of the video I posted on the "Updates to Logging in to Corona" thread. I couldn't stand the sound of dial-up internet.
:/ I guess the Daily Show doesn't like HTML5. I'll change it back to the old code. Just be forewarned when you venture to the "Updates" thread. It's loud.

Changed back.
Also fixed your [video] tag above. You had it going to the webpage (which then was all embedded in there) rather than the video src (http://media.mtvnservices.com/embed/mgi ... c1440fece1)

Re: Site Improvements
I didn't realize you could just paste the embed code for videos. I thought it would have to be a direct link. It wouldn't bother me if autoplay were off - I just didn't know whether that was the reason the video up there wasn't playing.

Re: Site Improvements
You can't just paste the embed code.
The [/code]
This creates:
<iframe width="640" height="415" src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/embed/mgi ... c1440fece1" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe>
I had tried to replace that with
<video src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/embed/mgi ... c1440fece1" width="640" height="415" controls></video>
This worked with the kickstarter video with the annoying dial-up audio autoplaying loudly that I embedded earlier, but I couldn't get it to work at all with the Daily Show video. Which bites. Because I can make <video> never autoplay, but I can't do that with <iframe>. This is my current frustration.

Re: Site Improvements
Well, that sucks.
What originally threw me off in the URL that you posted was the /embed/ part, which is why I thought it was the the actual embed code.

Re: Site Improvements
I always add 'embed' when I read aloud my fortune cookie fortunes, and people don't understand that, either, which is weird cause I thought everybody knew that joke.
