Independence for Scotland?

We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

Well, technically, they were the ones who first coined the term "Canadienne," so they do kinda own that one.

Its not a personal or an individualized hate. More of a collective consciousness. Of hate.

Re: Independence for Scotland?
I would be disappointed if Quebec went independent.
That's not a popular sentiment in Canada, but I think we'd lose a lot of cultural ingredients that have made this country what it is if Quebec were to truly separate.

Russia.
Two guesses what they're gonna do with that world-class politeness once it's theirs.

Re: Independence for Scotland?
Use it to con a lame-duck Democratic President into letting them occupy swathes of Eastern Europe? Worked last time...

In Canada, is customary to be aggressively polite to all parties.
In Mother Russia, is customary for all parties to be politely aggressive. Is also customary for all parties to be single party.
