Adam's Free Screenings Thread

Why bother with any other forum?
Forum rules
We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

Back during the Excelsior days, we sent around a Beach Head action figure. It went from Mags in Alabama to Adman in Canada. It went from Adman in Canada to me in St. Louis. I moved soon afterward and it wound up getting lost in the mix. I still feel bad about it.

I won concert tickets to a band I've never really heard of again today. I'm waiting to see if this girl I kinda like wants to come with. If she does, tomorrow night will be that.

If she doesn't, tomorrow night will involve me *gasp* PAYING for a screening of Rosewater followed by a live streamed Q&A with Colbert & Stewart.

They're called New Politics. It's a show at a little club called the Varsity Theater, which recently won some sort of honor for having the best bathroom in America.
