Oh! Snyder directed Dawn of the Dead? I couldn't figure out the random connection. But now that I know, it shall never be seen by these eyes.

Shame, it's a time of Snyder-y innocence. When promise was held.

Well, he directed the remake. Feel free to watch the hell out of the original.

I did not know there was more than one.

I've "won" tickets to a screening of TMNT 2 tonight. I may actually go. I believe part of the winning was receipt of free action figures!

You could have offered Megan Fox a free breast cancer screening.

I tried that once. Apparently "Motor Boat" is not a recognised medical technique and now I have to stay 200 yds away at all times.

Just snagged two passes to Cafe Society tomorrow night. This is the new Woody Allen film, but he's apparently not in it so it should be tolerable.

It's a weird dichotomy for me with him. If he's on screen? Can't stand it. Won't watch. The neurosis drives me nuts.
But behind the camera? I usually really enjoy his work!

I have never seen the attraction. Must be my inner Nazi.

Of Woody the actor or director?

I'm a pretty big fan of Woody Allen. His stand-up comedy is on regular rotation on my at-work playlist.
I love Love and Death.

Do you have a preference between him as an actor and him as a director, or do you enjoy both pretty equally?

These are the Woody Allen movies I've seen so far - I'm listing them, because this impacts my answer:
Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex* (*But Were Afraid to Ask) (Directed and Acted)
Sleeper (Directed and Acted)
Love and Death (Directed and Acted)
Annie Hall (Directed and Acted)
Manhattan (Directed and Acted)
Zelig (Directed and Acted)
Antz (Acted Only)
Midnight in Paris (Directed Only)
To Rome with Love (Directed and Acted)
Blue Jasmine (Directed Only)
Woody Allen the director and Woody Allen the actor (often playing the same Woody Allen character found in all of the Woody Allen fiction and stand-up and in the inspired-by-him comic strips I've consumed) are pretty much the same for me, because far and away, I've pretty much only seen movies where he has both directed and acted, and I like the character. The relatively few movies I've seen have also overwhelmingly been comedies.
