Avengers: Age of Ultron

Forum rules
We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

I'd rather see Baron Zemo, and I'd rather see him in his awesome mid-eighties getup.

Zemo's cool, though he's probably more of a Cappy villian.

I've always associated Strucker with SHIELD, so I'd think he'd show up in the show. Hell, they can't even save a SHIELD villian for the show. Who the fuck does the show get to have? Fucking Scorch?

I figure Strucker will be linked in through HYDRA and the Red Skull, so it'll essentially feel like he's a Cappy villain, anyway.

I suppose Strucker is as much of a Nick Fury villain as he is a SHIELD villain, and since Nick Fury will be mostly showing up in the Avengers movies. And maybe they'll actually do a tie-in between the show and the movie. Though I don't really like the prospect of the poor quality of the show dragging down the Avengers movie.

I'll be watching last night's episode in a little bit. I'm sure it's the one that redeems the whole series.

There's a rumor about the appearance of another character in Age of Ultron.

This was on last night. Anyone watch? I forgot about it and now will have to hope they put it up On Demand, or available in some other manner over the internet.

I'd totally forgotten about it. I was hoping it would be on Hulu, but it's not. I'm downloading now, but it will take hours.

There are some synopses on-line. Yahoo! has this.

Just watched it. Not bad. The first three quarters of it are essentially Cliff's Notes for the Marvel Studios version of the Marvel Universe. Pretty much everything new, Avengers sequel-wise, was in the Yahoo! article. Not much new on the Guardians of the Galaxy front. There are some incredibly quick shots from Ant-Man at the end. Costume looks good.

Leaked trailer:

It probably won't be up long. Get it while it's hot.

It appears that Marvel is fine with the leaked trailer. They're blaming Hydra  I watched it but I am at a bar so I couldn't quite hear all the dialogue. It's definitely got me excited. If they are going for the Civil War storyline, it looks like this will be a great setup. Not sure how or if they'll tie-in the Infinity Gauntlet stuff they've been setting up.
