Weird as it may seem, I don't think anyone uses the word "snow" in Empire Strikes Back. It was used in the marketing/merchandising (most notably with "snowspeeder"), but I can't remember a single occurrence of its being spoken in the movie. Somehow, this adds to the realism for me and helps sell the setting. They've been there a while. For them, the snow is less something to comment on and more something that's just there.

I feel like a lesser script would have beaten the audience over the head with the word, the same way a lesser stand-up will use the name of the celebrity being impersonating over and over during the impersonation. ("You little Girlie Man! I am Arnold Schwarzenegger! I will crush you! I will crush you with my Hummer, because I, Arnold Schwarzenegger, drive a Hummer and am Arnold Schwarzenegger! I will crush you, and then I'll be back... ing up to crush you again! It's not a TROOPAH! It's a Hummer! Get to da CHARGAH and see if you can outrun Arnold's Hummer! Hasta LeBaron! Automobile humor! Maybe it mentioned snow a thousand times but the cast just ad-libbed it away. I think Empire might be Ford's best performance on screen.

Too much mugging in Last Crusade. Too bored in Jedi. Maybe Temple of Doom? Certainly better than any Jack Ryan's or later outings like Air Force One.

I'd like to do a little research on British politics, Dimple. Give me some party names. Who is the communist-left group you mentioned before? Who's the centrist right and who are the scary right?

BNP / EDL types on the far right. Inside them is UKIP, Conservatives closer to the centre under Cameron. Labour are socialist loons under Miliband. SNP further left.

People mistakenly believe the Lib Dems to be in the middle, but they are actually am offshoot of Labour when they were similarly leftist and are a protest party. They will likely get wiped out at the next election.

I'll have to research where Labour stands these days. I haven't paid much attention to them since Brown got booted out.

As far as the Lib Dems...is the imminent death of that party the only reason Nick Clegg hasn't been replaced yet? Sort of a "Eh, we'll disband soon anyway. May as well let him carry us all the way down." mentality?

He's Deputy PM in the coalition so they are stuck with him until the election.
