I think this thread needs more anime.
The Cowboy Bebop opening was basically what got me to watch the show. It just gets you pumped up for it. (It kind of works on a similar level as the TMNT opening.)

Oh, and the Neon Genesis Evangelion opening! I think I still like it better than the show itself. It's mainly the ethereal quality at the beginning of the song and everything after the 1:04 mark that does it for me.

I saw the Evening Shade theme for the first time over the weekend. It was....odd.
Not a bad show as far as early 90s sitcoms go though. I'll check into it again.
