We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

Hey, as long as Mitt Romney's in it, I'll watch it.

Re: Trailers
Damn, Gillian Anderson is almost unrecognizable. Looks like she's had botox injections.
Duchovny also looks like he's seen better days.
People get old, I guess. I don't look like I did 10 years ago either.
Dat Mitch Pileggi, tho!

I saw her in person at Fan Expo and trust me, she is just fine.

Anderson's face lost its softness, and Duchovny's face found it.

Don't blame us. This is clearly the handiwork if a certain former Apple CEO's ghost.

Re: Trailers
My thoughts: Pretty "meh"
I liked the first one, the second movie wasn't all that, and this one is definitely not getting me excited.

Re: Trailers
I am sort of excited by this. I like seeing the new mutants, and introducing other mutants that didn't technically exist in the timeline that the new X-Men movies take place is interesting. Like seeing mutants like Jubilee, Nightcrawler, etc in this version of the X-Men universe.

Re: Trailers
I'm finally pretty sure I'm in. They're clearly going for a Guardians of the Galaxy vibe with this trailer. I don't know if they went that way for the movie, itself, but I'll be fine with it if they did. I'll also be fine with them doing their own thing/forging their own path. Whatever the case, it looks like they're trying to move the marketing out from under the shadow of the Snyder style.
I never thought I'd be looking forward to a Suicide Squad movie more than a movie featuring Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman, but I guess I am. I'm still sort of half-expecting Suicide Squad to be shitty, but I don't want it to be. I like a lot of the characters (or, rather, I like their comic counterparts), and I tend to want comic movies to do well. Comics meant a lot to me growing up. I like seeing comic movies--even (especially, even) the bad ones. Of course, if you get too many bad ones, people stop going. If people stop going, comic movies stop getting made. (I'm sure some would argue that they're all already bad and that it doesn't matter, since people are dumb and will pay for anything you tell them to pay for. I don't know. I don't think that's the case.) I don't want that. I want them to keep getting made. I want it for kid me, and I want it for adult me.

Re: Trailers
It's got me sort of interested also. I don't know much about the lore behind the suicide squad other than the occasional DC cartoon.

Re: Trailers
I thought that was a damn fine trailer. I only know most of those characters from Batman video games and the animated series.
