I saw it a while back when Jubbers posted it on Facebook. I complained about the whiteness of the Lane-siblings and about the trailer mistakenly claiming that Daria was valedictorian.

Oh, and Daria is clearly wearing makeup. Amateurs.

On a side note, I also graduated high school in 2002.

This all sounds vaguely familiar to me.

My complaint would be that it's just not all that entertaining a trailer.

I was halfway through my MA degree by 2002.

If we're going to compare how old we were in 2002, I'm going to win that battle. Or maybe lose.
I don't even remember what I was doing in 2002 ... Oh yeah, returning home after four years in Ol' Blighty.

So you know Turtle Wax?

Everybody knows Turtle Wax. It's the wax that allows us to wax "at the speed of ice."

Whatever the hell that means.

Turtles sleep during icey times. I call foul.

You know how I know Greg Kinnear's career is in decline? Because he's starring in this:

I still haven't seen an episode. I intend to watch the first couple episodes, at least.

Here's a new Days of Future Past trailer:

It's mostly new stuff.

I liked the part in that 'Heaven' trailer where Mags Martindale asked the boy whether he thought her son was in Heaven; I wanted him to reply that he looked over the edge of a cloud and saw her son, aeons below him, screaming as he was raped by razor-cocked demons in hell, and that he deserved it. That would've shut her up. I assume this movie was made by/for Protestants, since the kid claimed his miscarried sister was in Heaven. As far as I know, Catholics believe babies who die unbaptized end up in Limbo.

Did Greg Kinnear's career ever really have a high point? I can't quite agree that he's in decline when it seems like he's been at this spot for most of my lifetime, at least.

I gather from the reviews that it was definitely made for religious folk. The movie's supposed to leave no question as to whether or not he went to Heaven. They're also releasing it around Easter.

There haven't been too many movies made by and for Catholics since Mel Gibson's Passion of the Christ. Maybe his drunken meltdown cast a pall over things.

Son of God, God's Not Dead, and Dark Dungeons all appear to be Protestant works. (Granted, Dark Dungeons could be a Chick-mocking send-up. It has Chick's approval, but that doesn't mean its makers are pro-Chick.) The Tyler Perry movies are all built around Protestantism. Same goes for any movie Kirk Cameron is involved with.

Noah doesn't appear to be by and for Protestants. I'm not sure about Exodus. (That's the one starring Bale as Moses.)

Whatever the case, there appears to be fair-sized chunk of Judeo-Christian-themed movies getting theatrical releases this year. It would be cool to try to watch them all and do an end-of-the-year write-up of some sort.

He was in As Good as It Gets. That was as good as it got.

There was also Little Miss Sunshine, I guess.

Kinnear spiked briefly when he was nominated for an Oscar in that Jack Nicholson movie.

You know how I know heaven isn't for real? They made a movie about it.

I don't know, I think it looks pretty cool. Course, I am a pretty big X-men fan and I really liked First Class.
