Nope, South East. Plymouth is South West.

I guess Brighton. Is that the largest city south of London. The wonderful wine of Brighton. Just flows off the tongue.

Brighton is South. If you go South East from London towards Canterbury there is a town called Maidstone - that's where I am.

But I digress. Like most North Americans I've always assumed ancient Romans, dark age Vikings and fantasy folk all have British accents.
I could make a bad joke about little vocal cords, but I'd rather insinuate a bad joke about incestuous siblings.

"Bastard Executioner" only really got good on it's last episode, and was not worth the slog to get there.

I didn't make it that far. It's difficult for network tv to match the realism of a production like "Game of Thrones" or "The Last Kingdom". And its more than just showing a boob here and there. Networks are fighting with one hand behind their back and it's a fight they can't win. Budget restrictions, language restrictions and just plain writing is minor league. There are exceptions, of course. I thought "Fringe" was the the best sci fi show of the decade.

"The Last Kingdom" was so good.

I want more now.

Show. I know there are books.
