Forum and In-Joke Guide
Forum rules
We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

Re: Forum and In-Joke Guide
I'm not sure what my favorite comedy is. I'd probably go with Dr. Strangelove, A Shot in the Dark, The Thin Man, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, A Night at the Opera, The General, or Sullivan's Travels. This Is Spinal Tap, Kind Hearts and Coronets, Arsenic and Old Lace, Airplane!, True Stories, The Producers, Manhattan, The Apartment, The Jerk, and Ghostbusters are also pretty great.

Coincidence, it's on TV now! Frankenstein, not the rabbit.

Re: Forum and In-Joke Guide
New question: I just clicked on somebody's profile by accident and saw that there were buttons I could click to either "add friend" or "add foe."
What would happen if I hit the "add foe" button? Would I no longer be able to see that person's posts? Or would Dalty's profile picture just change to a skull and crossbones or something?
Hell for that matter...what if I hit the "add friend" button?

Re: Forum and In-Joke Guide
Adding someone as a foe hides their posts, kind of like the "ignore" button did on Cinescape/Mania.

Re: Forum and In-Joke Guide
I see. And if I hit the "add friend" button?
The only thing I really remember about Cinescape anymore is that Jarrod unfriended me on Facebook because I wasn't nearly sad enough about the death of Paul Walker for his liking. Fun times.

Cinescape or Mania? I thought Cinescape was no more. Paul Walker's death was fairly recent.

Re: Forum and In-Joke Guide
Oh, yeah, I suppose it's Mania now. I dunno, haven't been there in years. I wonder if I'm still a mod. Jarrod was my last remaining link to that place and he deleted me (and kah, for that matter) after we each made separate Facebook remarks about how Paul Walker's death, while sad, wasn't the worst thing that's ever happened to humanity. Jarrod disagreed, took his ball and went home. I'm less than devastated.

You mean there are people outside of the CCA universe who also go off in a huffy flounce?

Re: Forum and In-Joke Guide
Shockingly, yes! Though Jarrod posted over there on rare occasion as well, as memory serves. Can't think of his username off the top of my head.
But the valuable lesson I've learned from that particular flounce is that the next time a Fast & Furious cast member dies, I will sob hysterically, release white doves and throw myself over the casket, screaming "TAKE ME! TAKE ME INSTEAD!" That's the only appropriate reaction, I guess.

Re: Forum and In-Joke Guide
True. Less driving. That'll save plenty of Diesel.

My newish car is diesel. It never gets used anymore. I rent a parking space in a secure spot up the street and from Monday to Friday it pretty much stays there.

Re: Forum and In-Joke Guide
I hate that diesel is so much more expensive than unleaded now. That makes everything more expensive.

Diesel used to be much less expensive before The Fast & The Furious. Also Riddick.

Question for our appointed protector and ruler until Jubboiter comes of age, Jubbers.
Are you going to go freakin' bananas if I upload a video to this website?

Haven't even looked into the technical side of things.
