I should warn you that if your intention is to wait until there are mere seconds left of 2018 before making a final post just to secure the year's final post... you will almost certainly not be facing any competition from me.
Just to clarify, the above was not meant as a taunt, and it was not meant to suggest that I will be doing the opposite of what I say I will be doing. I will very much not be sitting by my computer and hitting refresh as the year's last seconds tick down.

I'm a bit disappointed that Scotia didn't insist on claiming the final post of 2018.
In related news: First post of 2019!

Site update:
SSL Certification now active, so Chrome will no longer scream that this place is not secure.

Well thats good news. Although, the sense of danger always did it for me. Knowing that I wasn't secure...what can I say? It was a thrill.

We had a massive spam/malware attack that seems to have started around February 5th. I've cleaned it up - deleted all of the spam posts, deleted the spam users, etc. - and I've disabled new user registration for the time being. If there is someone you want to invite to the forums, let me or Goiter know.
I also updated the boards, panicked because everything was completely broken (completely blank everything!), and then managed through a remerging of various versions of files to fix the update.
