Fun Fact #2 - in South Africa they tell children the story of Danny, a little boy who was beaten to death for looking at his presents early and will haunt the children if they do the same. Africa, ladies and gentlemen, the fun continent!

Vincent Price's Dracula makes the claim that it's a Romanian Christmas tradition to tell kids Dracula will steal them away if they're bad. Never looked into whether or not there was any truth to it.
