I'm rewatching Thor. Impressive visuals, some good one-liners.

Someday someone will have to explain to me what exactly Asgard is in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Is it a planet? Asteroid? Space station? Weird dreamlike state of mind? All of the above? Are the Asgardians human? Related to humans? Are we their slower cousins twice removed?

Aliens On The Moon - The Truth Exposed on Discovery Science. I can feel myself getting stupider as I watch it.

why would you watch that?
my roommate is always watching terrible marvel shows like flash and arrow. but that makes a little sense cause he grew up a marvel fan.

The EPG had "Aliens on the Moon" in it, it was on Discovery Science. I stupidly assumed it might have some interesting stuff to say about theories on alien microbes on comets and meteorites. It turned out to be a load of "Truther" types who are convinced there is a giant radar dish and base on the moon monitoring us, and that NASA knows about it. All being soberly narrated and given credence, rather than being laughed and pointed it. It was like a car crash, and like a car crash you just can't not look!

I used to be a pretty solid UFO believer myself, so I can't judge too harshly.

I haven't 100% recanted, just left the door open a crack. You never know...

Now watching The Drake Equation on Netflix.

Uh, Mouse, those are DC shows, not Marvel.

Now watching a documentary about veganism. Lots of German speakers in this one, for some reason.

Aaand now... Collateral, with Jamie Foxx and Tom Cruise. Lotsa stylish killin' an' dialoguin' in this one, if I recall.

It sits in my top ten fav movies.

The nightclub scene was pretty good. Not as good as the nightclub scene in John Wick of course but very little is.

Peter Jackson's King Kong is on TV now. I had forgotten how looooooooooong it is. 1hr in and still not to the bloody island.

It wasn't beauty. It was runtime killed the beast.

And an awful CGI Dino stampede!!

Return Of The Jedi, marvelling at how off her tits Princess Leia is for the whole thing. Eyes like saucers, crazy grin, lack of focus. It's quite extraordinary!
