That's too complicated for me so I will just summarise.

Two outcomes possible. Either Trump just nicks it by inches, or Clinton romps home and blows him away. I don't think a reversal with a narrow Clinton win is on the cards.

What time will the results be known?

Impossible to say for sure. If one of them takes, say, the majority of Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, New Hampshire and Florida, it'll be over pretty early. If they split those six, we're in for a long night. Especially if he gets Pennsylvania.

One of my former University of Alabama suitemates wore his "Make America Great Again" hat and his "Republican National Convention" shirt to the polling place. Isn't that electioneering? Does he skate by because there's nothing on the hat that actually says "Trump"?

He also had a picture of himself holding up his ballot with his choice for president clearly marked, smiling and giving the thumbs-up. Someone posted to ask if he had truly been allowed to wear the hat, and he responded "Yes. They can't stop you from wearing a shirt or hat!" I'm not so sure that's right. In Missouri, at least, these things are clearly defined as crimes. They're even labeled as such on signs posted on polling place walls--along with the specific legal repercussions for committing said crimes.

He's also on the ballot running for constabulary position and was there to vote for himself. Fuckin' Alabama, man.

The bastard did, however, break the law when he took pictures inside the polling place:

I thought for a second he might have been getting by on a technicality if he used something other than a cellphone to take the picture, but FAQ immediately above has this to say:

I've thought more about this. There are two pictures. The first one is a selfie my former suitemate took outside the polling place. The second one is a picture someone appears to have taken of him inside the polling place.

My former suitemate's selfie appears to be more than thirty feet outside the polling place--though that may depend on how "polling place" is defined. (If it's defined as the area in which people are actively casting votes, he's probably fine. If the property surrounding the building [parking lot included] is also considered to be part of the polling place, things could get sticky.)

My former suitemate may be skating by on a technicality with the second photograph, since one may presume he didn't actually take the photograph--unless he used a time delay. If another person took the photograph *for* him, on the other hand, that person may have a greater share of any culpability.

Whether or not my former suitemate broke any laws--I think he might be able to argue successfully that he did not--it does seem like he put at least some effort into figuring out just how much electioneering he could get away with. Whatever the case, he posted the photos on Facebook as global shares, so anyone can see them. If a person so chose, that person could share the posts with the U.S. Department of Justice.

In keeping with my track record thus far, I'll ultimately be wrong in the details. But I'll be right about Trump losing and will not be shy about pointing that fact out to Doubtin' Dalty for the rest of our lives together.

His family had actually changed it to Sleazebaggano in the 9th century. It used to be Shitbuckettano.
