Am I the only one here watching this?

I've been wanting to watch it but just haven't had the time. Heard great things about it, though, and I've been interested ever since I heard Jonah Nolan was making it. After Person of Interest, I'll watch anything he does.

It's intriguing. Ep 6 now - I get the feeling a few big reveals on the way.

Holy shit, wait for Ep. 7. Totally did not see it coming.

Loving this show and it's more laid-back pace of exploring the story. Plus the production values are superb.

Last night found Hopkins is keeping older generation hosts off grid as pets, Maeve got her attitude on and that the company boss is transmitting data somewhere. All lining up nicely. No idea where the MiB and Marsden think they are going.

Ep 7 on Weds here. Hang on, that's tonight!!!

I'm enjoying the show. I knew next to nothing coming into it which makes it all the more tasty.

And yeah, there were some big reveals in the last episode. Hopkins has confirmed that he is the show's number one miscreant. By a large degree I think. His character's disclosure was just as alarming for me as finding the truth out about Bernard.

I am thinking the full on Jurassic Park meltdown won't be entirely his fault though.

I think so too. Arnold's motives are yet to be reveled but I've no doubt they will be sinister. If Arnold exists of course.

So Ep 8 - Maeve's plan during the raid is now in full swing.

Well - that was pretty f-ing spectacular!!

Yeah - this is getting good now. It won't end well.

OK - guessing the new crazy is Ford's new narrative, and he is also the one who programmed Maeve to think she is escaping of free will. We will see. 35 mins left.

"Journey Into Darkness" - or him smashing up his toys and going home.

i'm really disliking the acting, and plotting. besides the concept there's not much to it. it's all very 'freshman philosophy student so deep man'. i smell another "lost". another season in and everyone will realize nothing's really ever going to be said.

I don't think it will have the legs to do seven seasons. Once it's done the whole "what is free will and what is programmed?" thing then played a few games of "who is a host?" then gone all Jurassic Park then what is left to do?

they've already run out of things to do!

Second season can be all the people trapped in the park with all the murderous hosts while Maeve's quest continues.

I'm enjoying it so far. Nice twist in the season finale that you could see coming, but wasn't obvious too soon.

Intriguing question: if you're not sure which characters are hosts, you never really know when an actor's been written out. Although I assume Hopkins being Hopkins, one season was enough for him.

I thought the same thing. Board on his back, make them think he is dead to get them off his back / leave him in peace to live in his park unobserved.
