I thought it was interesting, not in the sense that it conveys something new to me but in the sense that those who are at the front lines of the social justice war are starting to recognize how dogmatic they can be in their belief systems. It's a point that Goiter has raised from time to time (and it's also present to some degree in what I've read of his Suicidists novel), but it's also an idea that's come up more than once in public discourse since November 2016 (e.g., when Betsy DeVos was booed during the commencement speech she gave at that university in Florida and the university's president had to remind the crowd of graduating seniors of the purpose of universities).
