Current Non-Annoyance
Forum rules
We once roamed the vast forums of Corona Coming Attractions. Some of us had been around from The Before Times, in the Days of Excelsior, while others of us had only recently begun our trek. When our home became filled with much evil, including the villainous Cannot-Post-in-This-Browser and the dreaded Cannot-Log-In, we flounced away most huffily to this new home away from home. We follow the flag of Jubboiter and talk about movies, life, the universe, and everything, often in a most vulgar fashion. All are welcome here, so long as they do not take offense to our particular idiom.

Re: Current Non-Annoyance
I just thought there was no need to change Danza to Danzer to bring the joke home. It's a pretty well-known misheard lyric, and spelling it Danzer doesn't do much to alter the sound of the pronunciation. It just kills the joke.

Re: Current Non-Annoyance
I honestly just assumed that "Danzer" is how he pronounces "Danza," what with his being British and all and he was poking fun at himself.Mal Shot First wrote:I just thought there was no need to change Danza to Danzer to bring the joke home. Adam guffawed at one of the most common puns out there? And a botched one, at that? We ought to revoke his wall emoticon privileges.

When you learn how to say herb and squirrel correctly, then you can criticise.

Re: Current Non-Annoyance
I just had a job interview which I'm pretty sure I nailed. Part-time, so it's not exactly a career--but who knows? Sometimes pt gigs lead to dream jobs.
I'll be driving a small truck throughout the Toronto area, lifting expensive, heavy-as-fudge furniture with a pair of merry Irishmen.
I expect there to be after-work pints from time to time.

Well, it's signed and done. I'm officially a Navy mom. The offspring will be gainfully employed after graduation!

Yep, passed all his interviews so he's in the program. At least a year of training before he gets assigned to a sub, though.
